Psoriatic arthritis is a type of arthritis that affects people who already have psoriasis. It manifests as red spots covered with silver scales. To this day, this chronic disease has no cure. However, if psoriatic arthritis is properly treated it can be controlled and prevent joint damage. If the patient is not treated, this chronic disease worsens over time becoming disabling.
But what exactly is a “hit list”? A hit list is simply a list of symptoms that a doctor does not think you have the disease. If you fall into this category, your treatment may be less than optimal, and your symptoms can go on. You may also be considered “high risk”, because of your age (65 and over), or your preexisting medical conditions.
