We’ve had a lot of rainy days the past couple weeks and I’m craving sunshine – big time! So I guess it’s no surprise that today’s post features beautiful sun rooms that I think you’re going to love!

My recent plant fetish is making me love the Monstera (at left) and Fiddle Leaf Fig (at right) in this light and bright sun room with bamboo shades at the windows. My daughter Bridget just had similar shades installed at her new house this week.

Here’s the mother of all sun rooms – windows at the ceiling as well as around the walls!

Some people decorate their sun rooms with wicker or garden type furniture. This owner styled theirs with wing chairs and farmhouse decor.

This sunny space is turned into a gorgeous dining room with cross back chairs and a trio of matching pendant lights.

A vaulted glass ceiling creates an atrium – perfect for combining wicker seating and plants galore. It’s great for over-wintering some of your favorite annuals, too.

A blue and white color scheme lends a beach vibe to this pretty sun-filled room.

Tufted furniture adds an air of elegance to this room wrapped in French doors and transom windows. I think this one is my favorite.

A Victorian style sun room is the epitome of them all. Think back to Victorian times when it was en vogue to fill your home with plants.

Which of these sun rooms is your favorite?
I hope you’ve had less rain than we’ve had here in Illinois. Many of the farm fields still have standing water and streams where they didn’t exist before. The ducks are happy, though!
